Which browser should I use?

The system will function on the last 2 versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome. The fastest and smoothest experience will be on Google Chrome, however the application form will function on all three.

Can I log in via more than one internet window?

No, please only log in via one internet window, otherwise you risk losing your content.

Can I stay logged in and be inactive for long periods of time?

The system will log you out after a while if you stay inactive and it may not be obvious to you that you have been logged out (for example, if you are logged in for over an hour without using the system at all). If you have been away from your login screen for an hour or more the best thing to do is log out and then log back in again to avoid information being lost. The system should save your application information as you provide it, so there is no risk in logging out. But it is always good to check that the information you provide is being saved.

What is the process for applying for a Strengthening Grant?

There is a two-stage process for the Strengthening Grant application:

1) Submission of a concept note

2) Submission of a full application (if invited by AmplifyChange after the concept note screening)

You must pass the eligibility check first.  The eligibility criteria are:

1) The applicant organisation must be registered in one of the AmplifyChange eligible countries.

2) The project must be implemented in one of the AmplifyChange eligible countries.

3) The applicant organisation must have a bank account.

4) The project must respond to one or more of the Amplify Change thematic areas.

We encourage applicants to apply online at www.amplifychange.org. The online application process is easy to use and will automatically save your application as you fill in your details. You can also revisit your application as many times as you wish prior to submitting the application.

To access the online concept note form please do the following:

1. Go to: https://grants.amplifychange.org/grants/dashboard/

2. Click on the button: ‘Begin Application’

3. This will take you through a series of eligibility checks. If you are eligible you will be able to access the online concept note form.

4. The online concept note form must be completed online. You will be able to download a PDF of the application at any point during your submission, however this PDF cannot be edited.

If you cannot access the online application system you can:

Request a Strengthening Concept Note Form (Word document) and Annex 1 Strengthening Budget (Excel document).

You should request these documents by emailing: amplifychange@manniondaniels.com.

You should then complete the application form and email back as an attachment and by the closing date to: amplifychange@manniondaniels.com.

What is the process for applying for an Innovation Grant?

There is no concept note stage for the Innovation Grant, applicants are required to submit an application form only.

We encourage applicants to apply online at www.amplifychange.org. The online application process is easy to use and will automatically save your application as you fill in your details. You can also revisit and edit your application as many times as you wish prior to submitting the application. When you are content with your application, just submit it.

You must pass the eligibility check first.  The eligibility criteria is:

The project must be implemented in one of the AmplifyChange eligible countries

The project must respond to one or more of the Amplify Change thematic areas
